Appointments are available weekdays and evenings.
If canceling or rescheduling an appointment, please give a minimum of 24 hours notice. You may be charged for any appointment you miss or cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Insurance will not cover these charges and you will be responsible for payment.
Most health insurance provides some type of mental health coverage. We will submit charges/claims to your insurance when possible. However, we do not participate with all insurance plans and some or all of your services may not be covered. You are ultimately responsible for payment of services provided. Please contact your insurance carrier to inquire about insurance coverage.
In most cases you control what information is released and to whom. We generally cannot release any information without a Release of Information Form signed by you. There are exceptions to this rule regarding danger/abuse to yourself or others. We will discuss the issue of confidentiality during your intake appointment.
Professional fees range from $135-$175 depending on service. We offer a sliding fee scale for clients without insurance coverage. Payment arrangements are made on an individual basis. If you are having problems with payment, please talk it over with us.
During sessions calls are answered by voicemail. We check voicemail often and will return calls as promptly as possible. We are also available through email at [email protected] and [email protected]. In cases of clinical emergency for current clients we are available 24 hours a day through our answering service at 1-315-432-9746.
We understand situations arise where our clients will request written documentation from their therapist. In many circumstances we are happy to accommodate those requests.
Being a full time clinical practice, any time spent on providing written documents is in addition to the therapist’s existing clinical schedule. Time to write letters, fill out forms or complete other documentation at a client’s request is billed at $100/hour. This includes any time needed to review records, notes or other documents necessary to complete the request.
Please note it is Rector Psychotherapy’s policy not to provide written documents for family court and/or other legal matters. Involvement in the legal process is often at odds with the goals of therapy and therapist involvement in court proceedings can undermine the therapeutic relationship.
Please discuss your request for written documents with your therapist. We are happy to answer any questions in advance and provide requested documents as soon as possible.
These forms are available using the links above and can be printed, filled out and mailed or emailed to our office.
